I’m definitely sure, that fields visibility should be taken into consideration. So in your case – user should NOT be visible in a search results by logged out user.

@geekboy68k Yes, I meant exactly that. WP+BP (with a really low number of plugins without a network activated) will produce up 100 DB queries + up to 60 Mb php memory usage. And sometimes even more....
